Something for the map “junkies”
Hello everybody,
I talked to Brian (our gracious host) at Log House RV and asked him if he could provide somewhere for us to post maps (like a wall or fence, ect). He thought that was a great idea and he said he will plan something for us that is protected by the weather. I’ll volunteer a Forest Service map of the area for us to gaze upon, highlight, and otherwise mark up. I’ll also bring thumb tacs, push pins, highlighters and some sharpie pens to help in ride planning. When we are all done it should make a cool souvenir for our little gathering. I’ll also use Ladybug’s GPX file of the local fire lookouts to mark all the fire lookouts in the area. Anyone else who would like to post a map is welcome to do so. If you don’t want it marked up we can place some clear plastic over it or post a warning not to write on it. Brian will have something set up that will hopefully keep the maps somewhat dry, because as we know from past experence, it sometimes can be kinda wet. Jerry

The Honda Trail70 wasn't "mini" enough for such a big Adventure Stud,
you know, since they (we) appropriately nicknamed him "Mad Max" ? What could POSSIBLY be cooler than the cool "70s green" Honda Trail70 ?? Eh? Cap'n?

Now about that wet stuff, we wouldn't have that problem if it wasn't for Pickle---- he brings it with him. If he wasn't so much fun to have around I wouldn't let him come but having the pleasure of his company makes it worth dealing with a day or so of rain. Quote:
That wasn't the critter in the flowers I was talking about but I like that one too. It's just not going to be the same this year without the Radioman here but I trust he will be having a blast on his RTW tour: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=689134 Where's the picture? Your mini bike is on the fence with you getting splinters in it's backside. You're not allowed to stay on the fence for very long. Great idea. Who would like to extend the invitation to the owner of the motorcycle shop? |

I call foul.
![]() LB, you can't make these wild accusations, (everybody knows you are the Rain Goddess) and then lay on the sugar, so I can't shoot back. It's just dirty pool. ![]() Do I have to send you a copy of the rules?

Spare tire for s1marks
Hay, s1marks, I have a tire that I know fits your bike and it was still there in the back of my truck just a couple of weeks ago. Had to get a photo of it for ya!
It's sitting in my tire pile but I think I'll throw it back in next June and bring it along so you'll have a spare.... It still has that nice big red patch also (up against the cab wall in the photo)! ![]()
