Thanks for the report

I'm uncertain of the status on American travel to Cuba, is it difficult to get a visa?

Americans can go under certain circumstances, but aren't supposed to spend money there (read up on the helms burton act). I dont think the US gov't can legally ban you from traveling anywhere, but they can fine you a lot under their trade embargo if you spend dough in Cuba.

Having said that, lots of people do it.

Love you Yanks, but seriously. How long can your government hold a grudge?
I've been to CUBA three times. Each time on a vacation. The rum is good, the cigars better. I'd love to see the island on a DS.

Like anything, there are ways around the embargo. Which needs to be lifted.
