New style ktm grips

I got mine(4 level, led lights) through ktm twins. Try them, I bet that's the only version they have in stock anymore.

good to know, I was going to call them tomorrow. their website shows the old picture though. so it might be good to confirm before they ship.

did you have the old style before? if so how does it compare?

I called Scuderia. They will have them in stock next week. It will be the new 4 levels led switch. It comes as a kit so you can't buy the switch only.
They'll replace the pix on ktmtwins.com when Ktm sends them the new pix.

Voila!

Thanks for the heads up!
...but I (we) wanted the switch only. I'll wait for the next winter to make a decision, only 6 months to go

Yeah, but you don't need to re-install the grips, just unplug the old switch and plug the new one, so you can sell a new set of heated grips with an used switch. And nobody cares about an used switch, we care about new grips.

Received my heated grips from ktmtwins.com and they are the new version with pushbutton and 4 levels. Had to trim the ends a bit but it was essentially a plug & play install. These things throw some serious heat on max.

I couldn't make it to SF. Probably next week. How are the low and intermediate settings ?

I installed these to my 950SE http://www.coolride.de/
No exposed wires and I can use every grip I like or replace them if needed.
Sufficient heat in every situation this far - 1 season, 15000km.
I suggest to order 11mm for standard KTM bars, as 12mm was a real tight fit.
