Packer John Lookout, Packer John Mtn, Idaho

First let me say this is a great thread PinkPillion. One I can actually contribute too!

I'm a lookout nut, and what better way to get to them...on our motorcycles. Here's one of the many I shall contribute over time. Me and a buddy rode to the old Packer John lookout. Finding the "use-to-be's" is as fun as finding the one's still standing.

Even had a nice walkway to it's "outdoor facility"

Assawoman Wildlife Refuge

Great thread! Here are a few pictures from a fire tower I found during a day ride through the Assawoman Wildlife Refuge.

Day Trippin Report Here:

The steps are perfectly placed to ensure that both shins are bruised on the way up

Nice view of the Assawoman Bay

My little XT225 looks even smaller from up here

Ride Safe,

Horsehoe Pass Lookout, ID. There was a Fire Tower here built on to the rocks behind us but it was burned down years ago. There was a lot of old lumber down the side that we used for this campfire.....best camp of my life with my best buddies......so far
