Marked it down in the diary, probably ride up through Jamestown Johnburg a few good dirt tracks up to Hawker then head north. Chambers Gorge sounds good there is a track back from Arcaroola to the North or the Gammon range NP Cheers Marty

Excellent, thanks. If you require any further info just let me know. I'm going to try to be there Thursday night but am leaving from Byron Bay early in the morning so I might be there for a late brekky Friday. In any case, CU there sometime.

Nearly 80 booked in for this.

If anyone has a change of plans and either wants to come or wishes to pull out, please let me know and we can arrange things with the accommodation quite easily.

For what it's worth, the scenery is crap, the riding is second rate, the local food is hardly worth eating and the beer is the worst you can get - oh, and the participants are mostly smelly dirt bikers who like to stay up late around a fire and talk sh*t.

Now that's an offer I can't refuse. The good wife plus myself will take a camping spot thanks Trev. About time I got the Dero dirty.

Will arrive Friday, and out Sunday.

Regards Lofty

Righto Trev, put me down for a camping berth Friday and Saturday nights. Will most likely be trailering the WR up this time. Do we still need to book sites directly with Dave himself?

Good stuff DD, I'll be hanging around the 'Reception' area during Friday afternoon, so I'll have that ice cold beer waiting for you. No need to book anything, I'll organise all the camping and dorm accommodation and then let Dave know. Gee, the WR will give you a different pespective of the tighter trails in the Flinders....

cheers

PS. ALL, Here's a link to the front page of the DBW thread regarding the Classic. All bookings are reflected on there, let me know if they require any changes. http://www.dirtbikeworld.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=86289

i wont be able to make it now.

the XR is fixed now, but im trying to get overseas by june, so its going online shortly for sale.

ergo, i have no bike to ride for it and not even a car to come up there.

Tim, will catch up in the city sometime to give you the money for that leg thing.

G'day,

I just spotted this thread, I could be tempted to come over from VIC.

I would have to come on a bit of a flying visit so as not to use up too much of my leave.

I am sorry if I have missed it somewhere else, but is there a rough outline of the itinerary somewhere? Day Trips, how many kms per day etc.

Also how late can I book if I want to camp?

Finally, I ride a DRZ400SM which I have successfully ridden on good dirt and gravel roads, for this event would I need to switch to some more dirt oriented tyres?

Cheers

Stewart
