If it's not too late, I'm in as well . Put me down with the slower riders - I'm not new to bikes, but new to CA for sure - just got here a few weeks ago. On a '09 KLR650.

I don't mind leading a group or trading off sweep. I'm probably a 4-5 but have to concentrate on keeping it mellow so I can enjoy the scenery and not get broken. And I like to take lots of pics too.

If I have faster riders in my group I don't mind sending them ahead as we all catch up at breaks, stops, turns etc. Happy to stop at technical sections and make sure everybody gets thru.

I'm not a dust eater either, so I'll always hang back or ride ahead depending on the situation. Done many a ride where we have younger or newer riders and experts alike. It always seems to work out. Unfortunately the slower ones don't get to rest as much.

Ok, I think I got all the new riders on the list. Looking over the groups, I want to make sure friends get to ride together, but I also want the L.A. riders to mix in with the San Diego riders so we can strengthen the riding network between our regions. Any of you L.A. guys ok with splitting up?

From north OC I'll be going out the 91 to the 15. Maybe I can meet up with Joel and Lior. Joel??? Lonesatar Bob?

Or maybe I'll go Ortega Hiway. More fun ride early in the morning.

good idea blake. i'm good where i am now with the sd riders. lior and i would like to be together since we plan to ride together from riverside and back. great to have a factory trained mechanic in the group too....

chris, maybe we can meet at murrieta, a gas station just off the 15.

Are you going down Friday or Saturday. I am doing Sturday am.

If you are doing Saturday I need to check and see if Mike.B is coming. I had commited to ride with him.
