Started the first part of this route today, didn't get very far. (Almost to top of Palomar) It was getting worse up ahead, combined with lack of mud skills and being alone, I turned around..

Can't wait to get out to the area with you guys. Just scanned through this thread and it looks awesome! I'm transferring to SD in July and am currently riding a KLR but may be on an F800 by the time I get there.

On big bike im average rider, when the dirt rode get open I can ride little faster
On my 530 Im little more then average rider I can ride fast on tight single tracks or open desert

Can tell you've been doing this awhile - you know how to pick your lines with that bike....smooth. Enjoyed watching your video!
