Windscreens For Gen 2

Looking to perhaps get a screen for my naked 2004. I'd appreciate pics of 2nd Gen SVs to see what's available.

Thanks.

Long ago when I first got my SV it was naked, and I put a Givi A750 fairing on it. It was better than no fairing at all for longer rides, especially if any highway was in there.

Long ago, when my bike was naked, with Givi A750

And now.

i have everything for the GSXR front/rear swap except rear wheel in my garage. getting the custom triple so it's a complete "bolt on" swap cause i want to keep my "clubman" bars.

as for front fly screens, mine is the small 03/04 Suzuki oe piece:

MAN I love that thing. Once folks get wind of it and the cost with conversion from Yen, they'll dissapear Jerry.
Great job on the color matching too.

Reminds me of an early 80's GPZ fairing

So is anyone here planning on attending the National SV Rally this year? I'm gonna spend a week and a half down there and thought maybe some ADV people with SV's might join in for a beer or two

So Nathan. You recognize the 2003 naked footpegs and how desirable they are for SV owners who tour. They're lower and further forward than any other year, another oddball item unique to the 2003 naked.

Last year I hit a deer and went down, and took out the left footpeg assembly. I still have the right side and you're welcome to it

I replaced them with a set custom made by SVRider member Nucular. They are even lower and further fwd (still don't drag) and have dual cartridge bearings, etc, so are silky smooth. Never realized how shitty the stock mechanism made the gearbox feel by comparison (doesn't help that they had 120,000 miles of wear on them)

Ordered that screen. Bike looks like a ZRX1200... old school.

Be nice to hide the bulbous gauges too.

I may hold you to that. I'll have to look into Nucular some rear sets.
I've barely had the bike a week, and my wife already hates SVRider. Lol

Impressions of the screen's usefulness?

It does a good job up to 77 mph.

Running into a 20 to 25 mph head wind was a real struggle on me. I like it as well as I did the Givi A755.

I put this set-up on Tuesday, but only got in a 20 mile ride.
I don't think it looks as good as the retro at 10 times the cost.

No offense, but that fairing can suck the retro fairing's balls

REALY like the retro fairing. Also thinking of getting one...just because it's badass
