So today I've been fiddling with routes on Teh Google. Maybe head North to Lake Superior then take 2 all the way across. Come back via Yellerstone and Beertoof paws. Not much getting around the great windy plains though, and I expect this to be a KLR trip this time. Can't figure out a way for the wife and me to both get away from home at the same time for two weeks in September, which sucks but ultimately we'll both probably recover. I do know one thing already, from the vantage point of March 16th, 2012: This is going to be one long, boring six months.

Didn't hangar8 mention something about there being a party at his hangar on Thursday night?
Paging hangar8 to the white courtesy telephone

I was assuming up by Haney Meadow as I'll be coming from the South.
Should be easy to guide folks with a map/gps there. I sure enjoyed that road all the way between Liberty and Beehive Reservoir late last Summer. Sorry I didn't stop by, 1911, we were on a mission from Dog.... I'd like to get into the Gun Club early Friday, so I can still have enough time to set up camp & head North for a ride around Entiat, maybe. Is it gonna be 110 degrees up on that East hill in September? Who's the local with the pickup bringing the white trash kiddie pool for us? And a sprinkler that we can run through at the end of the day(s) ?Quote:
open for that, but he also said something about not being able to camp there. I wanna be where I'm camping,....after drinks.

Me too! I think we'll have gunclub access on Friday; I'll be up there after work unless I can wheedle the day off. Trying to decide whether to bring the truck and set up camp, then have the g/f bring the bike, or vice versa.... She'll probably want to hang out and go on road rides on her Guzzi.

New Here- how do I reserve a spot?
Okay, all. Hello, and I'd like to join in on the WetFest. Great area of WA for riding and can't go wrong with motopeeps (well, not usually)
Lemme know what I need to do. Be happy to ride out with a group from Seattle area if interested.

Well, your post reserved you a spot. Now all you need to do is show up, riderideride, have fun. And, probably, drinkdrinkdrink after the riding is done. Huzar will probably post payment info, and if you don't want to camp I set up a package deal at a local hotel. Call the Wenatchee La Quinta and tell them you are part of the ADVRider group before Aug 15th, I think. 1911fan
