GPS with real-time traffic?

This is not a motorcycle GPS question, I have a Zumo 660 for the bike, but I am looking to see if there is a GPS unit that has accurate, dependable real-time traffic? I recently purchased a Nuvi 1490LMT and was very disappointed with the traffic functionality. My experience with the Nuvi was that the FM traffic signals were not strong enough once you get out of a major metro area and this pretty much disables the traffic function. When I am a passenger I will look at Google maps for traffic updates and that is pretty accurate, but when I am driving it would be nice to have everything on the dash. Most of my driving is in New England, some metro (Boston, Providence, New Haven), but most of the time I am running into and/or trying to avoid traffic outside of these areas. Has anyone had experience with, or know of a GPS unit with good traffic functionality? I did search traffic in this forum and didn’t come up with too much.
