Gee, Nick has really matured. He's become a good spokesperson and much more articulate in responding to the media. He must've had some really good training in recent years. Bravo!
Still needs about seven tenths, though. Hopefully he finds it in Jerez.

Two days until the next round. Spring is in the air, and I thought I'd post a video we've all seen a dozen times....

No doubt, fantastic! I'm looking forward to seeing what happens this weekend.

Thanks; so much negativity since the Ducati move. Rossi was and is a champion.

Great vid, and while I'd seen the move a dozen times, I'd not seen the production with patched in sound bites etc. Thank you.
Nice illustration of why you wouldn't stretch yourself to snatch sixth from the jaws of 10th.

1) he is human and breaks bones and damages ligaments etc like the others. 2)He has been beaten by his team mate on the same bike(HIS bike in fact) 3) He has been shown that a contemparary WAS riding the Ducati very very hard indeed, and that his team have not been able to turn it around at all. this must have a toll on a mans confidence..

rossi bashing? All motogp champions come to the end of their reign.VR is the greatest GP rider of the current period ,if not ever.I am not bashing VR I am presenting my view of where he is now compared the videos above. He may prove me wrong and i hope he does.If he doesnt he will not diminish in my estimation.

After 2006 and 2007 a lot of folks claimed he´s finished, but he wasn´t.
So now he´s a bit older, and the problems he´s currently facing do appear much bigger than in 06-07. But he´s still a 9-times world champion, do not underestimate his hunger for that 10th title. Or becoming the only rider ever to win titles on 3 different manufacturers bikes (even though to win the title with Ducati seems unbelievably distant for him at the moment!) What I do not get is, that this year´s bike was supposed to be built completely for Rossi. And now he still has no feeling from the front, and at Qatar he was among the slowest of the Ducati riders! First he must dig himself up from that hole. BTW, who / how many riders have currently won races on 3 different manufacturers bikes in the top class? |
