I don't think it is a diminished skills issue with Rossi, it is a Ducati issue...

Okay everybody, stop the Rossi bashing and get back to talking crap about what a horrible rider Casey Stoner is. People are geting their feeling hurt.

Please, everyone knows ( even Rossi fans) that he is in trouble. Sure 80% of it is probably the bike but who cares. Everyone has an opinion and is free to express it. Now you know how Stoner fans felt two years ago.

Go Spies and Hayden !!!

It has been said that Ducati is not acting on input from Rossi.
Though difficult to believe, it seems to explain the situation, to a degree.
It doesn't explain why Hayden is faster.
When Nicky won the championship, he didn't outrace Rossi on the track so much
as he won by iron clad determination.
Nicky's perseverance is able to withstand the most difficult times. He would
be the last rider on the track to surrender to difficulties. He's like Cool Hand Luke.
For this reason, I expect he will outrace Rossi this season.

Maybe they're not acting on Rossi's input because they can't or don't know how, not because they don't want to. They've thrown a ton of money just to get where they are now, so they're obviously trying. The may be lacking the expertise to execute on the input.

Hopefully that time hasn't come yet.

Listen to the podcast posted a couple of pages ago and you'll hear some experienced racers suggest that you get 10 years at the top level. Time is closing in on Rossi (I hate to see it happen though).

Enough if this chit-chat and speculation, where's the Jerez thread??? I expect to see my man, Ben, at the top of the FP lists when I wake up Friday morning and check.

This is funny, only one race into the season and already Rossi has failed the season and is quitting to go car racing or WSB or or. I actually think he'll be in BSB next year as they have the formula right, getting rid of electronics (mainly). Roll on Sunday

I think the problem arises from Rossi's paint scheme. Not enough of that Yellow color he loves.

No doubt they are standing on their head. I'm pullin' for 'em.

You know for some its easier to kick a person while they're down than to extend a helping hand in a show of support of major accomplishments. Some people want to be the first to say he's done and washed up", seems to be the case around the world.

Of course he's not going to be fast forever and neither will the guys currently beating him BUT will either one even come close to his stats? The one thing we have is time will tell and I will be a life long supporter of his and other past champions of their era.. They all give so much for a sport they as well as us love, some give more than others, Super Sic forever.

Champions will come and go, some just leave a bigger mark than others, Race On!!!!
