I didn't think was as interesting a the king whiner goen on about how yet again peeble are being mean to him about his mental strength. If that was Rossi instead of Casey he'd just laugh it off, there's nothing wrong with tears though it show's Casey has his sensitive side. You have to admire that and being so open about his inner feelings
While we're quoting out of context what about "Just, in typical Casey fashion, he complains a little too much.", you forgot that one.

Not much laughing going on at Ducati (or by Rossi) in 2011.......just a lot of whining, crying, excuses for POOR performance, about a machine that Casey PROVED was more than capable during the last 4 years, lol. (in the hands of a rider actually willing to ride it).

I keep hearing rumors that Rossi is talking with Honda about buying out his Ducati contract so he can set up his own team and race a leased Honda next year. Anyone know anything about that?

Rossi Kiboshed that notion a while back.

It the kind of fatuous bullshit that Dean would promote.

Not sure where the references to Dean Adams came in - I was trying to make the point that to the mass market (i.e., non-fanatics), Rossi IS MotoGP. Even in a season where he does horribly, it is his name associated with marketing the sport by companies like Amazon.

Stoner did a fantastic job winning the championship, and Lorenzo put up a great fight despite injuries. And yet in the end, who do they list as the star of the DVD? Rossi.

It is this that keeps Dorna up a nights.

As Yoop pointed out, Rossi himself denied it. I think it was just some of the die-hard Rossi fans (including some relatively close to him) clutching at straws. If you say something will happen, the probability of its happening increases. But only a little.

Rossi may have not had such a good season racing, but he sure looks pretty happy in that picture!

With all that ballast to move around, he should not have any problem finding the right balance on the bike.
