Honda also makes good race cars, and the yamaha tram is linked to Fiat/Ferrari, so where is the advantage?
The only thing that will change imho is the pressure put on ducati for results.
Very good points. IF there is a turn around it won't be anytime real soon.

Unfortunately Ducati have steadily gone downhill on the pecking order ever since 2007. Stoner´s brilliance on the bike maybe masked its shortcomings for a long time, and when he left, reality hit them hard.

It´s easy to say in hindsight, but berhaps they should have been more worried about, well, basically everyone else but Stoner not getting pretty much anywhere on the bike.

With Rossi bailing out now, it really does not appear like they´re close to finding their way out of the hole they are in. I think Rossi would have actually stayed, if he´d seen, that there was any hope of this happening any time soon. What happened last week, is a big humiliation for Rossi as well as Ducati – and getting out also means he´s probably never gonna win the title on 3 different manufacturers.

FLORIN!!! I challenge you to a pitbike dual! You dislike Rossi, I dislike Stoner. 110cc's, street tires, no engine mods, and a go cart track of your choice.

I say dislike because I don't think anyone HATES any of the riders. Such as I don't like Stoner and Jorge, Stoner is a super whiner, Jorge is a super egotistical prick. That being said I'm not cheering if one of them crashes and nor would I wish a crash on them. I am cheering when they get beat though.

So yeah, hate is a strong word to throw around.

How can someone who is such a nerdy wanker be egotistical. There's some kind of fundamental disconect there.

Seriously, I was serious. But, seriously, you have to admire his riding. Surgical.

more of the variables (in English) at MCN

Speaking to MCN this morning though, Poncharal said he had not been informed by Dovizioso and Crutchlow that they had accepted rival bids.

... the offer he made to Dovizioso and Crutchlow included a deadline for them to respond that expires during this weekend’s Indianapolis MotoGP race in America.

I was hoping Herve was serious when he mentioned RdP being his #1 choice. Maybe RdP has a shot at Gresini?

I read somewhere over the weekend: Crutchlow and Redding for the Ducati Junior Team and Iannone with Nicky on the Factory Team. Sounds pretty far fetched, but you never know.

I'm always surprised by Rossi haters. He's a gifted, gifted rider and the best personality in MotoGP. I think Lorenzo has the personality of a newt, but I don't "hate" him. I don't even dislike him. Some of you need to move out of mom's basement and get a life.

Krop reports Dovi has signed for 2 years ... leaving Cal swinging in the breeze.
