If they would just make the Moto 2 bikes twins,

I think the Moto3 bikes sound okay, a bit supermotoesque but not bad at all. While I was looking for those clips I came upon the one of the Aprilia Cube, surely the best sounding MotoGP bike ever?

I don't remember the year but my old boss had a CD of bike sounds, and yeah the Cube sounded awesome. I might be a bit old school, but of all of the MotoGP bikes out now I prefer the standard 4-cylinder sound. And I am not sure why but the Suzuki (OK not out now) sounded better than the Honda's

The Cube sounds awesome as you say but it does look SLOW, Colin looked really uncomfortable on it. I always wondered how it would have fared with more time and money invested.
As Pilbarra stated in his excellent posts a few pages back that Suter/BMW sounds great amongst the modern bikes. Is Colin destined to be on the best sounding but slowest bike again?

I prefer the sounds of the big bang motors.

Call me weird.

Great sounds, thanks for the link!

Wasn't that a young Haga-san on the pit wall?

Here's an idea to improve the show. Dorna are you listening.

More classes , less waiting , more bikes on the track throughout the day.

My idea is to have 4 classes.

Moto 4 just rename the present Moto 3. Why ? Continue.

Moto 3 . A new class with 500cc twin cylinder motors.

Moto 2. Toss the production Honda out insert a 750cc three cylinder.
and
Moto GP stays at 1000cc 4 cylinder.

You're welcome.

90% of the people on this board don't watch Moto 2 or what is now Moto 3.

The current classes are having trouble filling the grids with well funded teams.

Great idea to add another class.

BTW - there will be a European Cup race on KTM 690's. Jeremy McWilliams ran a time 3 seconds off the fastest Moto 2 time on one, at the lastest test.

All in ll, I still miss the 500 2 strokes. That sound raised the hairs on the back of your neck, and the smell...

I'm one of the other 10% then! I prefer watching Moto 2 as I find the racing far more exciting and close. I'm hoping the Moto 3 class will be similar (which it will be if the 125s were anything to go by).

Moto 2 grid always looks pretty full to me and count me as one of the ten
percent.
