Ugly compared to RSV4

E: interesting that ART has similar exhaust valve as the RSV4-SBK does (black carbon box on the exhaust, below footrest).

That looks very purposeful. And they can take all the liberties they want with the fairing shape vs. production racing.

Soup reported the Ape SBK is putting up some lofty top speed numbers down the back straight at Aragon with a new spec motor.

Biaggi had no problem rolling through the pack in the first WSBK round this year...

From another forum (That hates SOUP)...

- WSBK and GP run a diff layout of Aragon. the change is to the sequence of corners right after the speed trap with WSBK getting a considerably longer straight. so theres no telling if the speed trap is in the same location and its reasonable to assume that WSBK is braking later or even braking after GP has already started to turn.
- given that GP hasnt been testing at Aragon this year w/ 1000cc, comparing WSBK to the 800cc trap speed seems silly.
- fuel limits, engine limits, and race distances all stack up against GP

How long to the start of the season again? (Rhetorical question, laced with sarcasm)

That was quite a while back. I haven't seen it squashed, so is it really true?

Poor thing ! I doubt it will be so ugly as to justify such radical measures.
