All but the last CRT team are within 107%, that's really promising and good progress so quickly.

The only limit is 240 tires. And I don't think it kicks in until 2012. And there is probably a testing ban for January, but that is purely my speculation.

I think the proposal still needs to be approved in December.

Great move for Bautista to Gresini. Unfortunate somewhat as Suzuki definitely had some momentum with him and was definitely becoming a player. I would hate to see them drop out. Despite all the talk of Stoner, Rossi, Lorenzo and co....a bigger issue is that this class needs more entries AND competition. Lets hope Suzuki comes back.

Maybe Rossi will be interested!

Rdp on the Suzi, a well as Hopkins, would do more than just give them momentum.

As long as the front wheel is spinning, the angular momentum of the wheel affects the dynamics of the bike when the bars are pushed. Hence the reason for this:

There is also the possibility of the rider having better purchase on the bike when the clamps are against the stops. Better purchase, better control.

but don't forget about that wonderful NEW Honda transmission, I watch that pass Stoner made at the end of Valencia on Spies and can't help but think the bike(both power and transmission) was a huge advantage. Especially when Ben was spanking his times in the two whole laps leading up to that finish.

i think it may be possible that deflection and wind resistance will help push the front around, where they more want it,also if the tire lands crossed-up in the intended direction, even and especially if it only skips down,this can help direct the machine to the intended/optimum line

Thanks for the reply + the one from XT - that's the kind of answer I was looking for. It appears from the vids to be a very obvious rider input even though the front wheel is only skimming the ground - every movement these guys make is calculated so it has to serve some purpose - other than just looking uber cool as well
