If a bunk is available, I'll take it. If not, a campsite or I can make other arrangements. I have a great aunt that lives in Alma if push comes to shove.

Looking forward to riding with you guys. :)

Also, I'll probably be up there on Wednesday or Thursday for sure. Any other early arrivals that are planning to ride, I'm game.

Is it necessary for a bike to be plated? I know for roads it would be but what if a guy only wanted to ride singletrack? Reason I ask is one riding buddy doesn't have a DS yet but tears up ST.

the single track is abt 7 miles from White Rock..and to get there, you will have to ride the county/forestry dirt roads..plated is the way to go, BUT, you can probably get away with a non plated bike, but you best not have an accident. There are alot of ATVs in the area and they ride the dirt roads with no issues from the LEOs, but if they too get into an accident, then the book is thrown.

In short, you can get away with a non plated bike out here and if your buddy wants to come along and play on the ST, bring him along, he'll have a good time..as long as he behaves and doesnt risk slamming into anyone or anything on the dirt roads.

Cool, thanks Doc. Hopefully I'll have 2 or 3 riding buddies coming up there with me. One should reserve a bunk soon for sure.

Trying to decide between the big bike or little bike this year. Took the little bike last year but I am tempted to do more black top this year. Anyone thoughts?

I rode my Wee Strom 2 years ago and it was fine. I might take the ST this year.
