Adventure riders heads up
Before this gets moved from the main Aussie thread Johnny Appleseed GPS emailed me a couple of XMAS specials.
The Rino 650 GPS/ UHF now has Garmin Topo Australia ? New Zealand free on an SD card and the Zumo 660 has dropped about $200 in price. http://www.ja-gps.com.au/Garmin/rino-650-gps-uhf-radio/ http://www.ja-gps.com.au/Garmin/moto...-zumo-660-gps/ I don't work for them and am not associated with them in any way but I like some others on here am interested in the Rino 650 as I previously had a Rino 520 and found it a good unit at the time. That's prety good pricing there, considering the maps are somewhere well northwards of $200 for starters. Damn and blast, I wish I was a bit more flush with cash at the moment. The only thing I don't like with the new units is that to power them on the bike you'd need to use the micro-usb plug, not my favourite connector on a well-abused dirtbike. Why oh why did Garmin not put the round plug from the GPS60 on there?
