Only wear Ive noticed is chain stretch, seems excessive but I don't have a 2nd bike that doesn't tow to compare. Just a hunch.

Cromoth, would you please measure your area length to mount a box. I'm trying to determine the longest box that would fit. I've emailed, posted on face book, and posted the question here without a response.

I answered your question on Stromtrooper. 1st gen trailer had a 24" cargo area - the newest trailers are modular - they can be extended for more cargo area. You are still limited by how much weight you can carry safely. Look thru this thread and you can find your answers.

^^^

He's right about the center being modular.

If you're concerned, give the dimensions of the box when you order.

He'll be sure to make that center section long enough for you.

When I ordered mine I told him I was using a Pelican/Storm iM2975.

No issues whatsoever.

Yep, still alive and kicking!

The trailer comes in two sizes. One accepts a box up to 24" long the other accepts a box up to 31" long. Like mentioned above, weight is the issue. Keep the load under 60 pounds and it will follow you anywhere.

I'm not taking orders at the moment, this year started off with a huge bang and I got flooded with orders. I should be caught up by May and taking new orders at that time.

Thanks!

thanks MrBracket and thanks for the email. To other posters, i knew it's modular but i didn't know the two sizes. weight will not be an issue for me but bulky items take lots of room--sleeping bags, tent..or kites and kite board....

Is there any published pricing information for the trailer and accessories? I couldn't seem to find any on the website and I'm not on FB.

Thanks

On the website it says these are about half the weight and half the price of another brands. I checked the other brand and theirs are about $900 usd. That makes me think these are in the $450-500 range before shipping.

Now I'm real curious as to how much they are :)
Cause I think I mighy want one...
How does it do on pavement doing 75ish mph?

Thanks for pricing info. I wonder if there are any plans to increase the carrying capacity. If one were to add the rotopax mounts and two 1 gal rotopax containers (with fuel), that would have to consume about 1/3 rd of the recommended maximum carrying capacity, leaving 40 lbs. Throw in a tent, chair, six pack cooler, assorted other necessaries, and 1.75 liters of Knob Creek, you'd probably have to leave the ice out. Another 20 lbs of capacity would be nice, but I really like this trailer and the concept.

IIRC, no, it's not for the big GS's.

It's also probably not expensive enough

yes IMHO

All you need is to talk with MrBracket regarding a custom hitch to connect the trailer to the GSA. I think he did one for MrFishman who got a standard Mule for his WRR, then got a custom hitch for a F800GS. 2 bikes, 1 trailer. Sounds like he's back-ordered so maybe you'll hear in June?
