Thanks Drone for the tire longevity report...I'll keep this in mind affer I wear out my Tourance then still have to finish my spare Metzeler Karoo before giving your Hidenau a go.

It is tubeless ?..difficult to mount ??

Tubeless. Took it to a local guy to get it mounted the first time but I think I will try doing it myself this time around.

Also on the Scout

I fitted the Heidi Scouts front and rear about 3,500 kms back. Pretty happy so far as well. Like Drone, my outfit is GSA-based, and tends to sit at reasonable speeds on the slab and on the dirt. Wet grip is ok, but not as good as the Dunlop Trailmax I was running.

It will be interesting to see how long the Scouts last, particularly the front. Braking is good, handling seems ok at speed, and head-shake is all-but gone. I'd score it an 8/10, but maybe a 9 if it wears ok.
