Not a river, but that certainly looks like a cottonwood grove in a flood plain along a river, something in southern Idaho. Is that what is left of Evil Kneivels rocket ?

Okay I guess I'll have to make it real easy. There is a cemetery on the other side of that water. Cemeteries are usually by a town. The cemetery and the town have the same name, go figure.

I guess I'll save this one for later since I won't be around for a few days. Someone else can have a turn.

I wouldn't have thought of Camp Sherman as a "town", but OK.

Tried to find something recognizable....

This bridge, or what's left of it, is BARELY off of what gravel rd?
(Same name as the creek this bridge crosses)

No sir.

The road right behind me (while taking this pic) is the road name I'm looking for.
It is a Wilderness border road.
In front of me is a mountain with a very unique 3-part name, also isolated from roads.

OK.
A couple days is enough.
Hint-O-Rama Time....

It is a reasonably well-travelled gravel road.
It is kinda heavily used for dispersed car-camping on Summer weekends

This Wlderness border road starts from a small community that has the name of a flower,
...and ends at a Lake that has the name of a flower.
These flowers are common wildflowers in Oregon Forests.

This long-dead bridge WAS the only road into this now roadless 3-part named mountain area North of me,
but it is not yet "Wilderness" (the Wilderness Area is to the South of me)
