a "city" that city and the road I am on share the same name.

Not Long Gulch road.

Curious ? If your guess is the Long Gulch Road that runs between
the Middle Fork Boise river and Prairie then your guess would be
the closest of all the guesses so far.

Not Pine-Featherville road.

But getting really close.

Road in question I believe is on Page 63 Idaho Benchmark book
or page 26 of the Idaho Delorme.

Think "City"

Work takes me out of town today so I will be back this evening,
if nobody guesses by tonight I will post answer as I will be leaving
town for spring break tomorrow.

Name this place

Please don't be hating me for posting a quad pic. That's my boy and he just doesn't enjoy two wheels. He rides a skateboard all over and won't touch his bicycle.

Hey... it's ok!... I think I see the butt end of your bike in the pic...

I was gonna say Willow Creek Trail (Blacks Creek OHV area)... but then I remembered that trail is MC only... so I'll go with ATV trail 501??...

Are you saying this is the 'skins?' If so, close enough for me. Didn't expect a trail number. Take it away!
