Wow. I thought for sure that was not the right valley because I cannot see the swath cut thru for the power lines that run thru that area.

The pic was taken from somewhere up at the end of this track around E:

you can see the powerlines on the map but not really in the picture, I don't think I was high up enough.

and here's my bike at the end of the trail:

Sorry, no pictures of a cool place with my bike. I am riding to this location this weekend, so I thought I might as well post a pic from a few years ago. Should be an easy one.

Name this feature; and how many people are in the picture (to make it interesting)

Edit: In rereading, I see you want the particular feature. I found it, but I had to Google to do it, so I'll keep quiet.

Edit again: I see three peeps.

Yes, yes, and almost.

There's a 4th right where the stone turns from red to brown. He's kind of bent over and pretty hard to see.

I'll take that as a win!

Name the town where this hot rod can be located - it might be gone by now but was sitting right here when I went through!

Thanks, but I can't take credit for the photo; a friend of mine took it from somewhere nearby (atop Mesa Verde I believe). I'm just the guy rappelling off the nose. It really is a great vantage point of the Monkey.
Side note; the ride there sucked this weekend. 3 hours of 30mph side wind in driving rain (after 3 hours of cold cloudiness). It was a good test of the new jacket's waterproofness (it's bombproof!). At least the climbing was fantastic afterwards

Now that is funny...a good friend of mine and a superb climber commented when I sent him that photo, that the rappel off the nose you are making was the most dizzying rappel [Scott is a big wall climber...] he has ever made due to lighting..

The only time I climbed there [1988?] lightening/rain/wind sweep in and blew us off the rock. Scott was yelling to leave the pro and get off the rock...but being a FNG I cleaned it on my way up...

Thanks for jogging those memories...now back to naming the "truck"...
