Have not been there but just how BIG are the rocks? Have a feeling that someone was having way too much fun with the trackhoe!

hmmm
Looks photoshoped to me. But if not I have never seen it.

But the shot looks a lot like the burned out area near Santiam Pass on HY 20???

Been there

Elk Summit? I think Warren, ID would be the closest town.

Looking for that picture in my ride report sure makes me want to go back and do it again.

Ladybug is Correct

Elk Summit "road," so close enough for me. Yes it is on the way to Warren ID from Yellow Pine. The near by landmark I was looking for is:

Ladybug, you are up. Be gentle on us.

Sign at the landmark just because it is interesting:

OK let's leave ID and head for my home state.

What town is this near and extra points if you can give the name of the church.

This church has been in at least a couple of my ride reports and I have drug a handful of people to it.

I enjoy visiting ghost towns, old cemeteries and old churches especially the ones that are not locked. Lu Fei also enjoyed it.

Nope, it's on the dry side.

No one yet? Where are all the Spo./Cda people at least one of them should know where it is. I might have to drag all them out there again so the remember.

A useless hint: You ride a short distance on a dirt road to get to it.

Now you want me to pay attention to punctuation?

Go flip through some ride reports and you will find that church. Heck, a picture of Lu in the church should give you a clue to one of the ride reports it's in.

You can do it Pickle, I know you can.
