Ok it's time for bed. Now I'm thinking Rock Creek but can't tell which road. The jail in Lonerock was almost moved to Portland in 1959?

I don't know Rock Creek, but you are close enough with Lonerock, so you're up. The pic was taken on Lonerock Road just a little before starting down the hill into Lonerock.

Yes, they were going to put the jail on exhibit at the State Centennial, but then changed their minds. I heard that they had started to move it, but I didn't know whether "started to move" meant the building itself, or just the arrangements to do so.
