I've been watching.
![]() who said there were "No more towns." You mean Enaville isn't a town? LB were you up at the Star Mine? I would sit on top of a mountain with google earth and look around, trying to identify peaks in the distance. I concluded that there are a lot of zig zags roads in the Silver Valley.

At the place the photo was taken I was beyond Star mine by a ways on some old logging roads then I dropped down into Mullan. There is a lot of fun exploring that can be done up in those mountains and I'm going to try and get up there again this summer for some riding.
Here's a little bit about Burke: http://freepages.history.rootsweb.an...a/id/burke.htm At the end there is a referrance to Ghost Town Auto. ![]() OK Drone, what do you have for us next?

This thread is a little bit addictive. I think I'm gonna take a break for a while right after this next one. Personally, I think this one is not gonna be hard. But we'll see.
What is the name of the town in the distance there?

The Rules in Post #1 say, "3. Feel free to guess, but only your first guess counts until the person who has the current picture responds with a right or wrong."
I, for one, don't understand what that means. In any event, not an issue. Enterprise (Oregon) is wrong. Joseph (Oregon) is wrong.

I put that in the rules to keep people from guessing 2 or more places at the same time, to encourage going with the best guess. If 1 person guessed 6 or 8 places at the same time hoping to get lucky on one some might interprit that as cheating? So they guess 1 place then have to wait untill the current picture poster (drone in this case) comes back and declares the guess "wrong" before they make another guess. I set those rules as guidelines to get this thread going. I think most people have a pretty good idea on how this game works now. I know there not perfect So if anybody wants to change any rules or simplify any rule let me know and I will edit the original post. although it seems to be working pretty good as it is. |

"Union, Oregon?" I asked myself. That sure sounds familiar but I don't remember where that is. Had to Google it. Then it dawned on me--sure me and Kirby rode thru Union on a nice wet day last summer! Photographic proof--
![]() But not the day I took the pic of the mystery town! |

That was a wild guess which didn't make any sense after I thought about it but by then it was too late to delete it.
