It's gotta be the John Day with the hill marking in the background....
But, not MacDonald Ferry, not that other crossing upriver......

I don't know where else you get that close to the river, where the hills are still mostly treeless...
Hmmmm.

Should be enough clues for somebody to step up

"Body of water" people, nothing was said about naming the "River". AJ, you really need to get out and ride more, or slow down!!!

I believe the road in the pic actually shares both road names through that section.

It is the Little Willow Creek Reservoir.

Apple jam by a nose & extra points for bike pic! With Slow Joe coming in a distant second by 36 minutes.... I figured the Madras, OR contingent would be all over this one like fly's but it looks like AJ finally got his morning coffee fix and woke up!

I think maybe you might have been here before,
and it's closer to Spokaloo than to where I live.

......From my 19 day trip last Summer:

I'm gonna need the name of the road this tunnel is on, and the name of the river it winds adjacent to.
(River is just barely to left of pic, cable & pullys cross this river)

The Adventure Studs in the picture are disqualified from this round.

Well, I have seen pictures of that spot but haen't been to it it, I know it's in the Hells Canyon Area and is very near the Snake River. I keep thinking Hess Rd. but I don't think it's on Hess. I'll have to wait until I get home to see if I can figure out the name of the road.
