Tourist, when you say the border you are talking about the U.S/Canadian border and not a state border right?

Is this 9-mile Rd. up near Molson, WA?

If not someone flip El Btad's atlas over and maybe he will figure it out for us.

I can envision this being one of Idaho's boarders, perhaps to the east or south...but I can't name it.

LB, Not Nine Mile. OK, Clue...it's not the Canadian border.

So Clues have ruled out the Okanogan, Potholes, Washtucna region, Mitchel area, OR/ID border.

That still leaves dry, evergreens, aspen, PNW border, big ol' volcanic rock, silly warning sign

.

We have a winner. Although it is called Agency Creek Road on the Idaho side, Lemhi Pass Road on the MT side.

My favorite cross into MT route.

This pic was a little obvious.

Lewis and Clarks first view of Idaho

On the MT side the road goes thru the front yard of a couple of ranches.

I've seen herds of maybe 30 Elk and 20 Pronghorn on the MT side.

Passable on a street bike if the weather is dry. One seriously steep hill at the summit. "No Trailers" warning sign.

Another picture, up the road to the West.

And here we are just off of the east end off this road.

Yeah, I know what you mean, these were pretty much the last of the digital camera era
pics, going to have to scan some 35mm prints for more pictures.
