Ok

OK, here's one.

It's in Idaho, and I suspect that some of the local guys will pounce on it quick.

BUT, I did pinch it down a bit to kinda make it more difficult.

Have fun!

Weeeellll,

I guess you can scratch that, the poster says I can't post pictures unless I have a "photo hosting site" -- I don't.

Go ahead and take it again Tourist.

It's snowing here.

I have the baton, Thanks.

Here is a pic I took couple yrs ago. The only place I've seen these red bushes in such proliferation.

Name the Valley or road or the small resort at the end of pavement, etc.

Clue; It's in Idaho and 5-10 miles from a border.

Which border? In the upper part of ID that can be a fairly small area but getting down south the choices exapand........ In other words I don't have a clue as to where it is but I want to know.

Puff, puff, puff. Shoveling snow is hard on an old body. 5-6 inches here and still snowing hard. Temp near *40 so once it's cleared the sidewalks downtown last quite a while, but still building up where I live.

Ladybug; It's not the Canadian border.

Whaddayawant? A freebee? How many paved roads are there near Idaho borders?

It's not Fish Creek Road, not in Silver Valley, not hwy 12. Here is a good clue; this valley drainage does not go in to the Clark Fork, Salmon, or Snake Rivers.

HWY 34 / 36 in the SE corner of state? Terrain looks similar in places.

No, but closest guess so far. Does that red brush stuff grow on 34-36? I googled around but couldn't figure out what it is.

Like a lot of Idaho, this is a paved road that goes to gravel.

I did all Idaho counties a few yrs ago. I rather liked SE Idaho. The one place I missed was Bear Lake. I need another road trip.

Good job. Have you been there.

Deer Cliff Inn and a Lodge a few miles up stream. It was quite hectic when I was there. They were preparing for a wedding.

I still don't know what the red bush is. It was on all the hills down to Utah border.

You're up.

The bushes were always on the other side of something. I tried to search Franklin County Flora, but couldn't access the site.

My google has a virus. It is some new redirect virus without a quick fix. Malwarebytes doesn't touch it and I'm building up Orphan Files. Hoping something comes along before my puter comes to a halt.
