IN CLOSING.

Do not think about your DREAM ride for too long. Prepare well & JUST DO IT and ENJOY IT.

it is the experience that counts.........If I can do it, so can you.

LOVE MY KLR

Take care ......Ian Robinson

Great RR Ian!

I've never seen anything like that here in western Oregon/Washington. Very cool to experience the adventure

Thanks Guys for your comments. Glad you enjoyed the read. I have been home for about 7 weeks and I am already getting itchy feet.

Thinking about riding down to Lake Gairdner in Sth. Aust. for the salt speed runs next March. Go Via Lake Mungo. and maybe return via Broken Hill/ Silverton. Or up through Flinders Ranges , Leigh creek, Or via...or...or

Has anyone been to the salt speed runs. .Any info appreciated.

Ian

Top report on a great trip - perhaps next year for us??? You did a good job on those tyres.

Great thing is to only be as old as you think you are

Cheers

Tks for reply. 8000 km looks like their use by date. I will have a look around for some alternatives. Might be running a bit of bitumen for a while.

Re age, I don't think I bounce and bend (ribs mainly) like I used to in the early days. The KLR feels so high sometimes I could do myself some damage just getting on.
