Vettel's post-race comments do nothing to dispel my opinion of him, which is that he's a front-running brat.

I always add a 1 hr buffer to all F1 recordings in order to cover weather delays. If you really wanted to be safe, the FIA has announced this year all races will be limited to four hours, due to Canada's five hour weather induced race last year.

It will be interesting... Perez, in interviews has said (staunchly) that he is sticking with Sauber for the rest of the year.

He obviously wants a chance at winning a race this year then

thats what i was thinking.
I mean "everyone" wants to drive for Ferrari... but in 2012? maybe not so much
Alonso will be fine, as he certainly can drive. But lackluster season after lackluster season for Massa? it'll be the night of the long knives soon enough. Maybe he can get a mid-pack job in Indy car like his fellow countryman?

Perez has absolutely nothing to gain by campaigning for the job at this point. He's better off letting it come to him in due course. If Massa is canned during the season and contracts can be finessed to give Perez a shot at it, I bet a dollar to a donut he'd take it, previous statements or not.

As bad as Massa is doing, it seems in everbody's best interest to let Massa's year play out for the better or worse and let his contract naturally expire. Perez isn't going to climb in that POS Ferrari and suddenly have it on the podium. Ferrari's problems run much deeper than Massa.

What would be the point for Ferrari?
It doesn't matter who's the second driver in that car.
I doubt two Vettels would be able two win the manufacturer's title for Ferrari.
Knowing the uncompetitive status of the current car, why bother letting Phil go
when you wouldn't find a tier one driver to replace him in a lousy car?

I dunno, I doubt Ferrari is already conceding the constructor's, although they obviously believe they have deep problems yet again.
