If you told me that was the rear of some new jet I wouldn't have been surprised.

The fact that the teams have yet to settle on a common solution to the exhaust is telling. Clearly a contentious issue and one which affords opportunity to the first team to hit on the best design, even a smaller team.

Watched my recording of P2. Schumi was on intermediate wets and aquaplaned down a straight. Not driver error.

Sure, because a driver can control aquaplaning on a straight line. Uh-huh.

Interesting. The FIA supposedly made a big deal out of keeping all 4 within the white lines in qualifying. On his best lap Vettel clearly gets all 4 off in the final turn. And the FIA does nothing. Understood, Alonso did the same last weekend. But why make a big deal out of it, if you're not going to enforce it?

Hope it rains.

Do you think anyone has told Kimi that he has a teammate? Nah, why bother?

Kimi's 2nd stint was pure sex. Fastest lap after another on worn tires, others couldn't match his times on new rubber either. One of the best drives of the season for him

Still was flat out disappointed after the race

Spa is next, now who has mastered that place before

sounds like the aborted start was all down to Schumi

lined up in the wrong grid spot, then his mind reverted to pre-2006 rules so he shut the car off....
caught speeding in the pit lane after they restarted him (I guess he should have been fined instead of a drive through.. bad on the stewards).

I wanted to see Kimi win too. I think as tires fade towards the end it makes the prospect of passing the leader pretty much impossible.

Lotus still the best team to not have won a race. Is that a promise of things to come? Or is it a millstone around the team's neck?

A nicely disciplined drive by Hamilton. Never put a wheel wrong.

Maldonado blatantly steered his car into di Resta. What a clown.

Quite amazing that a thoroughly mediocre Ferrari managed to extend its lead at the top of the driver's standings. Alonso must be marveling at his good fortune.

I thought it was interesting that the Speed commentators said today's race presaged well for Lotus at Spa. Hungaroring and Spa are completely different tracks. I know Lotus has made changes, but they didn't fare particularly well at another fast track, Silverstone.
