Carrying Deodorant

Once again, I'm confused by this response. I don't quit with personal hygiene on a ride, do you? I also bring toothpaste and multi-use soap to bathe. Why wouldn't I carry deodorant?

The thread was intended to find a suitable deodorant for motorcycle travel since my regular stick deodorant would melt.

For some, this seems amusing.

Heck, for a while I did the no deodorant thing while on a ride, but after several comments about my disagreeable odor from people I know, I thought it'd be a good idea to carry deodorant.

What do you bring when you take a trip?

Just joking around.

I've never had my deodorant melt myself... and I have taken some long trips in August.

My favorite on a long hot trip is Men's speed stick... but when am home I tend to use a women's deodorant.

(Yes, I am a woman). I have carried the crystal on some longer camping trips, but it didn't do much for me.

I am also allergic to most perfumes though not Febreeze... go figure.

I find these rocks (some call them crystals) work for me. They irritate some people's skin and for other people they are not strong enough. By wetting the thing I can get enough salt on my skin to keep the odor-causing bacteria at bay.

EDIT: A new "rock" is a bit bigger than a golf ball. It's easier to hold, since it's used wet. For me a new one lasts just over a year for about $10 or $12.

This is what I took to Mexico, only the small pump can version. I bought it at Walgreens.
