Survived. Had to cut the return route out, but I am more alive than ever after that.

Shout out to Mike, Andy, Will, and Amanda. Great people.

Big Mama and I are home safe & sound in Florida. 1,629 miles for the weekend.

THANK YOU CUDDLE and everyone else that made this weekend happen.

Red Bud, I'm glad you're OK. I was pretty worried about you.

It was great seeing familiar faces and making new friends.

See y'all soon!

Just want to say thanks to Silke and Hunter for all they did to pull this off. It was a fantastic weekend.

And kudos to Shane for being at the ready to rescue the down/disabled bikes.

The Ky. Wrecking Crew made it back by 10 P.M. after a 12 hour tour. And I'm happy to announce that none of us lived up to our name. No biffs , no helocopters.
We took a long cut on the way home to check out Burke's Garden . Very cool ride over 623 on gravel.

Many thanks to those who made this happen. It was great seeing those I knew and meeting a bunch of new ones. ADV rocks !

Haven't left Laurel Springs...

Still in Laurel Springs tending to things at our camper. Traci and I had a SUPER time. We enjoyed meeting and talking with so many great people. Thanks to Silke and all of the other organizers who made everyone comfortable, fed, and alco-hydrated. Thanks also to the wonderful staff of Freeborne's and Wild Woodys.

I never did get the Tenere dirty, but it did take a nap in an Independence, VA parking lot. Thanks for that, sandy asphalt. Thanks to KWoo for the help getting the bike up and my pannier in its place again. Only two scratches, one on the engine protector and one on the pannier. New engine protector ordered...ADV sticker on the pannier .

Thanks also to the ride organizers for some great rides. My gps captured all of it, and I will see those routes again. I will have some helmet cam video up on YouTube as soon I get home to choke my router.

You folks are a great group and made this n00b feel very welcome.

Thanks!
David & Traci

====================================

Your response was, "I thought so", flipped your visor down, backed up and just rode away.

Not, 'how is the rider?', not 'is everyone ok?' not 'do you need any help?'

Just a silent 'fuck you' with the visor flip.

You are NO adventure rider!
WE look out for our own.
Ego be damned.

So all I have to say I'll keep to myself except for this.
Get over yourself.

Make sure I never ride with that person!
