Yes, Scottie, that was a shameless plug, just like the person who wrote the post.

Holy crap... 12 pages of this rule, that rule, I suggest we hold hands, I want us to be close

Does anybody show up on something rugged with a bottle of Bourbon or Mountain wine and just enjoy themselves?
Might try and make this one.

Then just go on a different ride, .
This is America. You have choices.

(The rules are up to each ride leader. Pick the ride with the rules you like, or create your own ride with no rules at all)

Hey Rick,
Did your leave your cabin about noon thirty today (Mon 12/26)?

Heck no! most (almost all) of us are teetotalers. Think of a sedate revival without all of the charismatic carrying-on and you hit the nail on the head.

I'm telling you... Other than all the aches & pains, the worst thing about getting old is that now I get all weepy at movies. WTF?!

Actually I didn't see you, I was just playing Sherlock Holmes.

When I got to the bottom of your "driveway," the gate was closed, but there were fresh WET tire tracks making a left onto the street.
I figured you must have just passed me going the opposite way.

Are you staying through next weekend?
What day are we going riding?
Forecast looks good after today I think.

I had a grrrreat 200 mile ride yesterday.
All the rain had washed away all that brine they had put down,
and every road was nearly perfect.
I hope those guys have finally learned to wait until there is
snow in the forecast to coat the roads with that crap!
They're crampin' my style.
I spent most of the day pitched over into the curves.
I'm afraid to look at the sides of my tires.
Oh well, I've got plenty more in stock!

Ok. Let's say a guy were to ride a 990R Adv from Colorado back east for this lil shindig. Should said guy be looking to travel to southern New England, DC, the Carolinas or further south?

I understand the location hasn't been announced yet, but is there something more specific than "the east coast?"

Said guy should plan on western NC or eastern TN.
