counting down the days. So excited but sad at the same time. Ready to see some people/friends from last year and meet all the new ones. Was looking over the rides list and having trouble deciding on two. I did Knybanjo's ride
last year and had fun. I was ahead of the split, sorry for the one's left behind. Need a ride that goes to a good
North Carolina bar-b-que dive. Need to try that sauce. Fat boys gotta eat. Hopefully ride one day w/ Mud puppy and Sangfroid had fun last year w/ them. 3 klrs and 2 v stroms doing the snake. See everyone on thursday afternoon.

As of last month that parking lot was unavailable. Stations Inn is closed and their big parking lot across the street next to Freebornes was barricaded. Also as of that time the Tiki Bar had not yet been replaced either.

So NO Tiki Bar, NO Stations Inn and NO parking lot across from Stations Inn.

Last year I pulled into that parking lot to unload some bikes (Rick said it was OK). The guy that ran Stations Inn came over and got really pissed and said it was his parking lot and no matter what Rick said we couldn't use it, even for a second. It was all I could do not to go postal on him He was a total . I moved, then found Rick later and told him what happened and Rick said "Yea, well F@#k him!" God, I will miss Rick!

the Tiki Bar will be replaced by something less permanent, and Tiki Tammy apparently moved to Florida - sorry guys (not sure if she took the bear cub she shot with her).

If you are camping you should be able to park where you pay for camping (Freebornes or Woodys), and if you have a room it should not be a problem anyway.

Less permanent eh? Last story I heard was 'bigger and better'!


I should have added that the gravel parking lot behind Freebornes where the Tiki bar used to be is still there. We should probably just rename it.
