In enroute from San Francisco to Anchorage... camping... on a Tiger.

I'll get some K60's for this ride!

I'll be at BBATR2012 (# 7?) if I can get the time off, I won't know for sure until it is closer to September but it's been added to my plans.

Two Cents

While the plans are somewhat nebulous I'd like to put in my two cents worth.

Last Year was great!

However I was thinking how nice it would be to have a base camp to return to each night, the ability to leave the excess luggage in camp and lighten my bike (Bloody bike weighs in around 600lbs with all my gear) for the daily ride.

I don't know whether this would work with the routes you're considering but if it did you also might get more support from the local businesses.

My two cents and worth every penny.

It might workout that we might be doing a circle route so any heavy bags can be left on the first day and picked up on the last day.

Right along the lines I was trying to work on last year. I tried to mix a camping trip into Goldbridge with BCBT6. Ended up carrying a lot of excess baggage. Even just an overnight luggage drop would be a good thing. Maybe could be done with loops that only end 100km or so apart. Riders could drop off their luggage early, then start the daily ride naked (so to speak). Lillooet / Cache Creek would be an example. Anyone out there have any good thoughts?

Nakusp also comes to mind, lots of territory around the community plus a good size campground right in town.

That would fit in nicely with our proposed foray into the Flathead Valley. I new you could pick out an ulterior motive.

Hi all,

I'm going to head out this weekend and see if I can begin to map out a route. Not too sure how far I will make due to all the snow but will give it a go. I think I need a snowmobile

Happy riding
