Ok, I will admit it, I am the rider of the red G650GS as well as the one that required all the emergency vehicles. I didn't realize they sent that many people ! And, I was that close to the end of the "rough road"?!!? The bike is fine, just a few new tattoos and I survived with minimal damage. As the Dr. said "good news is nothing is broken, bad news is you are going to hurt like hell for the next few days" I hate people who point out the obvious with glee!Ok the worst is they cut off the wonderfully neon coat. Oh well, just received the new one so, back to Wolvern I go to conquer! Thank you to everyone who asked about my "crash". Also, thank you to Wayne County Motorcycle for making sure my bike got home and put on such a great ride. Look for me in the Fall (not "falling", the season!)

AdventureRN - I'm glad to hear you are okay. I spoke to you breifly before the ride - complemented your beautiful red GS. Too bad about the jacket - I was admiring that too! It was still on and in one piece when the emergency responders waived us past. I have a photo of you next to your bike before the ride. PM me if you want a copy.

Just found your post. Thanks for the pics of the Bultaco Matador - that made my day! I'm really glad to see one still around and being ridden. Looks like a great, all-inclusive ride. Thanks.

Sounds like fun! The Gear Up is an awesome rig - it must be a blast on the trails, and it probably doesn't fall over in puddles as easily as my ride. You are lucky to be where you are - the area is great for riding. It's hard to believe there are so many miles of unpaved roads and trails in upstate NY.

Thanks! The ride is a blast because it is all-inclusive - especially the variety of bikes, new and vintage. It is really cool seeing the vintage bikes being ridden the way they were meant to be ridden...
