Thanks. No skin off of my ass though. I enjoy football on Satudays but the rest of the week, except for our pick 'em games, don't spend too much time on it.

The total buyout for his staff and him is over 11 million.

This is exactly the reason why we never make donations to any school.

My guess is this is being funded by a group of big supporters...outside the normal donors. You can bet the buyout was inflated to shut up the whole staff...

Got my SEC championship tickets and already ordered half a hog to put in the smoker Fri/Sat. A whole day of Dawg/Gump fans tailgating for a game like this? Won't be a tailgate for the chirrens that's for sure.

Go Dawgs!

That should be a great time. Its been a couple years since the East has had a worthy candidate. It's been since 2009 that is was an automatic play-in too.

I think UGA can hang with Bama and may upset them...Either team should be a good match for ND.

I would love to see Oregon picked as an at large against Florida in the Sugar Bowl.

...edited, but I see that the Fiesta gets first pick this year and they would pick Oregon over anyone else....too bad.

He doesn't drink because he's a gator fan. He drinks because he's a gator fan LIVING IN ATHENS.

No doubt. My point is that there appears to be plenty of money available outside of my funds. Fuck 'em all - it's a mistake to lock up any coach like that.

That'd be like me living in Tuscaloosa. Outside of the university which I've always found to be beautiful, Tuscaloosa is a pit. I grew up 30 miles from there fwiw.

I've always liked Athens but my memories are skewed by several visits to see the "twilight criterium" cycling races and one other cycling event that was based at UGA.

Exactly. He was not exactly a stellar coach before he came to Auburn. 2-10 at Iowa State before coming to Auburn in 2008.

Yeah, but he was cousin to blubber neck Bubba; who is busy spending his Daddy's cotton money on more important things like the Auburn football fund.

My buddy debated... His wife said "Go to both." But he's putting his eggs in the NC Bowl basket.
