Penn State is a horrible team due to the issues around that program. Ohio State is playing under penalties for the Tressel era. Michigan is still trying to figure out how to climb out of the Rich Rod fiasco. Nebraska doesn't even know they're in the Big 10. Everyone else is young, injury riddled or perpetually sucky (I'm looking at you IU).

Purdue didn't look bad at Notre Dame. They looked overwhelmed on defense in the second half. They looked gased and weren't getting the push they did in the first half.
Looks like Northwestern will carry the torch....

UCLA beating Nebraska. Big 10 is looking pretty poor indeed.

Proper welcome to the SEC for both newbies.

Looks like UGA is in the driver's seat for the SEC East. Win on the road against Eastern foe with several suspensions and draws the two weakest teams in the West. They should be in good shape.

Show me. I wonder what Sheldon Dawson thinks of "old man football" now?

Yeah. Georgia was missing 3 REALLY solid players on defense tonight. Their defense will be stout in October.

2 teams ain't gonna make a conference.

Big 10 is down this season. Purdue looked competitive but ND didn't look like a top 25 team.

For all of the huge changes this year is feeling kind of "old school." Back when most conferences were truly two team leagues. Big8 with Okie/Nebraska, Big10 with OSU/Michigan, PAC10 with UCLA/USC.

Lot's of teams have shifted leagues but many of the conferences seem to be "the big two and..."
