Custom links for XS650
Links for Yamaha XS650 with custom built 15" wheels and car tires. Uses rotors from XS750 because of smaller diameter to allow clearance for calipers. Rotors have to be unbolted to remove calipers. The bike in picture was used for build but they will be going on another bike. B

Looks like a great product, But I'm scared to ask. I have already spent my bike budget for this year and most of next year too.

Each one is a custom build, the price depends on the bike, wheels, brakes and fender. It also depends on how the brakes are attached. The one in the photo is shown with fixed calipars which will cause the front end to raise opon braking. We also build links with floating calipars which can be set for the front end to raise, dive or stay level.
In very general terms, they start at about $2000 and can go to about $5000 with an automotive wheel, tire new brakes with floating calipars and a custom fender. Regular production leading links such as the ones we make for the KLR650, BMW F800GS, K75, K100 and a few others we can ship out with out the need to have the bike in our shop. Bikes we have not tooled for we usualy require the bike be in our shop. For many newer bikes we make new from billet triple tree's and have developed about 50 different tree's. Many BMW telelver front end bikes we make either off set plates for the stock ball joint mount or new from billet ball joint mounts. Jay G DMC sidecars www.dmcsidecars.com 866-638-1793 |
