Wind protection -- TMAX v. 400 Burg
I'm trying to narrow down my final choice here. I have to admit...I like a quiet ride. I don't like head-buffeting and a bike's wind protection is important. Any feedback from the experts here in choosing between these two scoots?
I know the big Burg does the job, but I really want the lighter weight bike.

Depends on your body and kind of helmet. There are several wind shields available. Test ride!

I just picked up a 2007 Silvering with a tall Givi screen that is dead quiet up to 90mph indicated.
![]() You could buy the one you like best and add a Givi. I test rode a C650GT with the adjustable screen, there was no position where that screen was as quiet as the Givi on my Swing. |
