New Adventure Footpegs from Black Dog Cycle Works
We have long been a fan of oversized footpegs after first trying them in Baja several years ago. The additional amount of control they give the bike and the increased comfort while standing makes this product a no-brainer for any serious rider. Working with an engineer that has developed parts for trials bikes for years, we have developed our new "BDCW Adventure Footpegs".
Measuring 4.25" long by 2.5" wide, these footpegs provide a very stable base from which to control your bike over the gnarliest terrain. This rugged design is cut from an aircraft grade alloy and MADE in the U.S.A.!!! They are extremely lightweight at only 8 oz each and include traction cleats around the perimeter of the pegs to ensure excellent grip. After the end of a long days ride, a handy BOTTLE OPENER is built into each peg, ensuring quick access to your favorite cold adult beverage. In addition, an ingenious "installation pin" in included with each set to make installation a breeze. For anyone who has ever fought the return spring while installing footpegs, this item is worth it's weight in GOLD and will save you a bunch of time so you can get out riding sooner! ![]() Included with each set: an installation pin and replacement cotter pins: ![]() THE FIRST SHIPMENT OF KTM PEGS HAS ARRIVED - YES WE ARE STOKED! ![]() Our BDCW Adventure KTM pegs will fit the following KTM bikes and are available NOW for an introductory price of $199 (regularly $219): - KTM 990 Adventure - KTM 950 Adventure - KTM 950 Super Enduro - KTM 690 Enduro (and possibly other 690 models?) - KTM dirt bikes (125-530 / 1998-2011) We will have two models to fit various BMW models including the R1200GS, R1200GSA, F800GS, F650GS twin and single) available in late January or February, 2012 and they can be pre-ordered here. As always, we will not charge your credit card until your order has shipped. Please let us know if you have any questions and thanks for your continued support. Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season Kurt

Thanks. We are very excited about this new product. I don't have any photos of the underside of the peg at the moment. To be honest, I am a bit reluctant to put too many detailed photos given the likelihood that someone else will copy our design. I can tell you the bottle opener works great and does not extend below the bottom of the footpeg, so it will not have a tendency to catch on anything. I hope that helps. Thanks for your understanding Kurt

Nice to see that others appreciate a Long foot peg.
Can we the pegs on both sides of the bike folded up, in case there's any interference with the foot peg mount, frame, etc.? This has been an issue with other aftermarket pegs... ktm950se |

I don't have any photos of the footpegs for the F800GS yet but they will look identical. The only difference is the mounting point. Thanks for your interest.
The BMW models can be pre-ordered here if you are interested. Thanks for your continued support. Kurt
