Thank you! Yeah we are finding new uses for it everyday that we have it. We have even had one customer tell us he used it for a rack to hang a deer from to field dress.

Thumb Team Shark Kage finishes the Vegas to Reno!

This last Friday August 15 team Shark Kage took on the longest off-road race in the United States. The Best in the Desert Vegas to Reno. This years course was an astonishing 540 total miles through the rough and rocky Nevada desert. Our team had only two riders and one chase vehicle to get us through. We were very strong and toughed out the harsh conditions and our team made it all the way to the finish line! Team Shark Kage finished 7th Open Expert, 43rd overall with a total time on course of 12 hours and 24 min. We had no major mechanical issues and only a few slow speeds crashes (everyone is ok) This was definitely a great experience for our team and can't wait to get back out on the race track!

Great work on the race.

I have been following your product and would love to have one someday. Money is too tight to justify one right now.

Can you detail how the cage is connected to the tail gate?

Thank you for the support!!! Yeah that is no problem. The way it mounts up to the tailgate is from the mounting plate called the Shark Bite. The way you mount up the Shark Bite is with measuring out the template and drilling about 10 hold into the plate and the tailgate. We provide everything needed to mount it except the drill. The next step is to take the rivet nuts and those seat into the holes just drilled. Then you take an allen head cap bolt and screws into the rivet nut. Each rivet nut is rated for 800 pounds. Once the plate is mounted up you take the 3 pins and mount up the Shark Kage itself. All instructions are provided in the box
