Bump for the weekend on these.

I also have some "specials" that could go cheap if anyone is interested.

They have additional faults (non functional, just cosmetic, untidy welding mostly) to the ones listed & can go for $36 shipped.

$55 shipped for the best ones - 7 left
$45 shipped for the same but with a small chip to the Powdercoat - 2 left
$36 for the "special" with small aesthetic weld issues (i.e. there might be a blob of weld on the mesh etc). - 6 left

2 x 1st prototypes (these fit but need work such as bending out & adding washers behind at the top to create clearance etc). No hardware. $22 shipped.

There won't be any more after this lot are gone.

Salty,

The headlight "grilles" appear to be extremely well thought out and of fine construction. Question, can you get a hand, couple fingers or a rag in behind there to scrub bug matter from the glass I ask> ?

I am a little disappointed to not see more posts from happy consumers, I would think it would be a popular item, considering the extreme cost to potentially have to replace the headlight glass, isn't it like $400 bucks for the headlight?

I suppose some are hesitant to violate their fairing with a drill. Guess I am still on the fence.... but I am keeping it in mind- I think it has a purpose, and I had actually been coaxing some fabricator types to come up with such a thing, but never saw any response till you came out with one here commercially. I can see where it would have been a pain in the tit to initially have formed it up in the R & D stage.

I grew up in a family where the family biz was a machine shop. I am thinking and pondering of sort of an aluminum bar or strip that would be formed to the contour of the fairing, in that area where you drill now. And then attach that bar with some hardware from the back, and have a couple drilled and tapped holes in the bar on the front, maybe a guy could have some thumb screws then to pull it off quick for cleaning... I am just thinking out loud brother, not expecting you to mod your product, just trying to see how I might rationalize this...

Hats off for making the effort and getting it done.

Yes you can spray it with your favourite cleaner & then feed a rag down behind & use a push pull action top & bottom to clean.

You can also pull it off in about 30 secs. It's only 4 little bolts after all. Takes 30 secs to put it back on.

You could form a bar to pick up underneath on the fairing bolts & another one to the windshield bottom bolt I guess... that would work.

Replacement headlights are pretty pricey.. cheapest I have seen them 2nd hand is $200....

Happy customer here !! It fits - it looks good - simple to install - price is very reasonable - quick delivery - to polish the lens, I simply slide a rag side to side between the grill and the headlight, grasp each end and buff it back and forth.
