I was involved in a similar situation and the insurance company did do the right thing and covered all my expenses. I suppose I could have sued but it didn't seem right, I didn't think profiting was needed. Of course, not all insurance companies do the right thing

I do however hope that Walt gets taken care of and heals fast, I can't imagine how terrible it must be to be so far from home and being all busted up.

13/50 feels about right on the 500. Now I just need to get rid of the locked EXC ecu.

Watch the top of the swingarm protector with a 13t c/s sprocket.

Atleast with the older bikes(mine was an 04)a 13t sprocket greatly accelerates wear on the protector, mine got ahead of me and damn near wore through the swingarm.
It could be the newer ones don't have this issue however.

14-52 seems to work real well for my 570, low enough for tight trails and capable of 100mph indicated top speed.
