I've been working three jobs lately so I can't wait for spring to get here.

BTW, working 80 hours a week means the Wee is off the chopping block (but connected to the Battery Tender).

I don't want to jinx myself, nor the bike, but so far the F 650 donor engine is working out OK. Looks like it may get to make the trip to Cruso for the first time. The ST has been there 3 times so far(twice last July to & from the MOA Rally).

Time to share the experience with the other bike.

Now I have to relearn my camping load-up to suit that bike's side cases.

Much as I love the ST, I still love to travel on the F 650.

And it's kind of old school, being carbed and all. Yeah, that's it. It has carbs.

I checked out my class schedule and it looks like I have a final the following Tuesday......which means I should be studying....

So I've made some celebratory arrangements after the final...the TN portion of the TAT. It's been rerouted, a more southern route starting in Tellico Plains. I'll take a week and see where I get to. May have an interesting stopping point planned in Miss. Most likely taking the DRZ.

I hope I have a week before the summer term......

Hey drummer of questionable mental status

Are ya still trying to split a cabin? I might be (two letter word that haunts me). So I might be able to pull this off if I can get the time off of work, (new job at cyclegear, strangely these guys are pro-riding). Maybe that way we can defend our clunky as hell odd-ball 74's with little honor and absolutely no dignity.Hope to make it for once, unfortunatly the only off-road action my /6 usually will see is on accident, so maybe no trails for me...

Bummer, no midget escort in Vegas. That would have been too cool. My mind is still free-spooling at the possibilities.

On the bike side of things, the F 650 seems strong on every test ride so far. I am so hoping this trend will hold and I can bring it to a rally for the first time in something like two years. It deserves a good road trip.
