Tracy and Jim were visiting from the southeast corner of Canada, and joined us after renting bikes from Billy and Stacie for the day. Super nice guys. I sure hope we can return the visit before too long.

How about Thursday, the 20th, at the Summit Saloon? That day and location has been working out well the last couple of months? Seems we're leaning toward the third Thursday of the month.

We are sorry to have to miss the next one. We'll be taking two of our bikes over to Prineville that night. Two of Greg's customers at High Desert Adventures rented them.

Thanks to Greg, Brian, Stacie (times 2), and Billy for putting on a fun event at Cascades Lakes. It was really great, and you had some pretty awesome swag. Finally scored my Rockgarden hat! You guys are the best, and it is truly an honor to count you among my friends.

Doing it another day works for us; I need to take my daughter out this Thursday. Next Thursday, I'll be on my way to the Olympic Peninsula for four days on the Dakar. Still need to meet you, Rainshadow.

Had the Cascade back to school night tonight and have High Lakes tomorrow night. Taking the camper and wall tent out to set up deer camp after that. Monday next week is booked, but maybe Tuesday?

I'm thinking of leaving Madras about noon tomorrow, heading east to Ashwood, South up trout creek, east across the Ochoco's on a piece of the OBDR, then down to Mitchell, grab a bite to eat, north past the Painted Hills, up to the Big Muddy ranch, back down Cold Camp road to Ashwood then home.

I'll be at the Shell truck stop in Madras filling up at noon. Taking the DR350 on this one, just cause she's not had much love this summer with the DL650 in the stable. Post up or show up if you're interested.

Man Tim, you're killing me!

Unfortunately I can't swing this ride and a three day ride next weekend with my wife (3 little girls 3 and under). That's going to be a beautiful ride, I haven't done it on a Dual Sport yet. Have fun!
