Any bar with dogs, art, bear heads, flying fox clocks, and acoustic punk rock is high on my list of places to spend time! Good to meet both of you and hopefully next time I'll be able to attend on 2 wheels so BP will have to buy me beer and teach me the secret handshake. There isn't any kind of hazing ritual is there?

We may not have any fancy breweries in Madras, But it ain't exactly a dry county either!

Why just yesterday I saw a beer delivery truck in town......

Last year I had my ADV cherry popped on a little weekend event in Crooked River Canyon and the Maurys...(sp?).

Anyone up for a little mud and adventure with some woodsmoke and pancakes?

I vote for once a month and mid week, I am not in to loud and crowded. Just my preference I have a hard time hearing, and the last time I went to a meet up there were so many people I couldn't find a seat at any table much less what i thought I was the adv group. I was there about 15 min. a waitress walked by about 6 times, and never asked if I needed anything, she was not rude or ignoring me she was just overwhelmed. It was very crowded and busy.
The mid week part is from I like to get out on the weekends and leave by mid day on Friday.
Again just my thoughts.

Joe, I think these are what you make them. If you want to post a location and time, some will go, some will not. I'd just post and go enjoy. You set the venue and if it gels, cool, if not, that's cool too. From my past experience with "bike night" meet ups, what you see here so far is not too bad of a start. It's a little off and on and as a few more people get involved it generally takes on a life of it's own. Post up your own meets here (Madras, Redmond or Bend), and see what shakes
